However, electrostatic technology has one significant drawback: bass frequency reproduction is often compromised. The satellites are available in two different sizes. The A 320 is your choice if you want a smaller, nearly invisible speaker with superior sound quality and high power handling. Its size and design makes it a perfect match for most flat-screens on the market.
As an optional accessory, we offer the A 320FS. Made especially for the A 320, and manufactured from sturdy aluminum to ensure maximum stability, these stands feature a unique cable management design which completely conceals the speaker cables. Graphic is the result of a close cooperation with the highly acclaimed designers Wojtek & Hånsbæk. With this wall mounted stereo speaker we have developed an exclusive and discreet solution for e.g. living rooms or dining rooms.
Graphic is furnished with three exchangeable cloth covers in Black, Light brown and Lime green. The front covers are mounted on magnetic frames so that they can be exchanged without using tools. In that way, you can easily tailor you speakers by the season, your mood or your interior design.
The combination of the very flat bevelled cabinet that conceals mountings and the black glass front makes these speakers well-playing works of art that will decorate any wall.
Technically speaking, Graphic is a highly effective, full-range speaker with a bass port. Placed on the wall it gives you very powerful bass reproduction because the angled, rear-firing bass-reflex port uses the wall as an acoustic amplifier to increase bass response. This means that the speakers, despite their compact and inconspicuous appearance – only 8cm/3.1in thick – are capable of outperforming comparatively larger speakers.

Beauty or truth? Magnat is the better one at the first thing. You should almost pay taxes for it’s ability to please. When it comes to honesty, the Quantum 603 is beaten by the amazingly good playing, everyday suitable Jamo. The little one (Jamo) is a pretty good investment tip – and it should also keep its value.

If you have an all-round musical taste then Jamo C 603 is the best compromise. It has enough bass for pop and rock and at the same time a chorus sounds exactly like a chorus and a guitar like a guitar. The speakers are never aggressive but present a pleasant and lean back soundstage. Jamo performs well in all disciplines and is a brilliant all-round speaker. Best in test!

Wow! What the Jamo-engineers have produced here really deserves respect. The little Jamo gives battle to much more expensive and bigger competitors, in addition to that it is a true problem solver for undamped listening rooms.

C 80 Center

C 80 is a series of top of the range stereo and surround speakers from Jamo. The aim of this series has been to recreate the perfect concert experience – nothing more and nothing less. Regardless of size, every speaker in the series is represented by the capital C as in Concert. The sculptural C 80 speakers, with their high level of finish and perfectly balanced sound, are a tribute to the great music and film experiences that we all love and take such remarkable pleasure from.
As the centre speaker in the series is magnetically screened it does not create any image distortion, when if it is used in combination with a traditional CRT television. The C 80 CEN comes with a practical rubber cradle, which makes it possible to place it on a shelf or even directly on top of your TV. With the rubber cradle it is easy to adjust the angle of the speaker in relation to your listening position.
The speakers in the C 80 series share a number of attributes. They all feature tweeters with DTT and WaveGuide, and woofers and midrange units using Hard Conical Cone and Centre-Plug technology. Furthermore they all come with an Active Impedance Correction system, which neutralises the magnetic field around the pole piece, reducing distortion by up to 50%. C 80 SUB is a front and rear firing subwoofer equipped with two 254mm/10mm aluminium cone woofers in a closed cabinet. The heart of this low frequency power plant is a 1800W BASH amplifier, which should be more than enough for both the most demanding music lovers and serious film fans everywhere. With C 80 SUB you not only get the traditional options of adjusting and fine tuning your subwoofer’s sound level, phase and cut-off frequency, you also get a variable boundary gain compensation, giving you the opportunity to offset the harmful effects that a room can have on sound at the lowest frequency levels. C 80 SUB also features Motional Feedback (MFB) technology which results in very accurate and dynamic sound.

Being powerful and detailed can be problematic for some speakers but not the D 6LCR. For instance, it can easily reproduce an F-14 jet taking off at levels that ought to require ear protection. At the same time, though, it delivers the sort of detail reproduction that makes it still possible to hear Tom Cruise asking permission for a fly-by. This is due to the speaker’s unique 5-driver construction, with a 6½in woofer placed on each side of the vertical array of midranges and tweeter.

D 6LCR needs a rear-channel surround sound signal to really come into its own. Able to boast THX Ultra certification, it is constructed like a D 6LCR speaker but is a dipolar surround design. D 6SUR gives perfect timbral balance when the sound passes from front to rear channels. In a conventional dipole speaker you would experience poor bass reproduction due to the phase cancellation effect between the two woofers – we have solved this problem by having only one 6½in woofer mounted in the middle of the cabinet.
In a 6 or 7 channel setup you simply add one/two extra D 6SURs as surround back speakers.
The cabinets are crafted from MDF (Medium-Density Fibre) board, a heavy, resonance-damping material that prevents sound colouration.

When buying a D 6 THX system comprised of the very compact yet highly performing D 6LCR and D 6SUR, it’s natural that you’ll have equally high aesthetic expectations when it comes to the matching subwoofer. The D 6SUB is a very compact subwoofer, sporting a 15in driver and powered by a beefy 400 watt amplifier. A 15in woofer can be very difficult to control sonically because of the movements of the big diaphragm which often results in an unwanted boomy bass. By adding a Motional Feedback circuit, however, we get a very accurate and dynamic sound.
