R 909

Design
A smaller, more affordable version of the Jamo R 909, the new R 907 tower speaker is similarly designed for the true audiophile—but designed to work in situations where space is at a premium. Like the R 909, the R 907 features dipolar engineering, which means that the sound is distributed from both the front and the back of the speaker. The reflected sound from the rear adds ambience and gives the impression of a much larger room—in other words, a more lifelike live performance sound.

By using dual 12-inch woofers, rather than the 15-inch drivers found in the R 909, Jamo engineers were able to make the R 907 shorter and slimmer than the larger model, making it ideal for smaller living spaces.

Available in striking high-gloss red or black finishes, the R 907 is sure to attract attention not only for its unique design, but for its incredibly detailed sound reproduction. The Jamo development team was given a mission: to “translate” the design and the acoustic characteristics of the R 909 into a new, less space-demanding speaker. Technology
Dipolar loudspeakers have existed for many years; most of them have been electrostatic designs. However, electrostatic technology has one significant drawback: bass frequency reproduction is often compromised. They simply aren’t able to produce the characteristic physical bass “thwack” you feel in your midriff. The Jamo Reference R 907 audio tower uses electrodynamic speakers instead of electrostatics—and the results are amazing. Technology
The A 804 is a 3-way, bassreflex speaker. The rigid cabinet with the top and bottom constructed from high-gloss, lacquered aluminum and the rest made from steel and high-density polymer results in a stable, non-resonant cabinet with very clean sound reproduction.

One of the secrets of the A 804 lies in its flow-optimized bass port, which delivers extremely clean bass, even at high volume. The silk dome midrange/tweeter is a Jamo developed co-axial unit featuring WaveGuide technology. Technology
The Jamo SUB 800 is a front firing subwoofer featuring three 6.5” drivers – one active and two passive. All drivers utilize high-stress aluminum cones for the best possible transfer of heat from inside the cabinet.

The active driver in front gives the most detailed midrange response, while the side-firing passive radiators allow for good acoustic coupling to the listening room. Graphic is the result of a close cooperation with the highly acclaimed designers Wojtek & Hånsbæk. With this wall mounted stereo speaker we have developed an exclusive and discreet solution for e.g. living rooms or dining rooms.
Graphic is furnished with three exchangeable cloth covers in Black, Light brown and Lime green. The front covers are mounted on magnetic frames so that they can be exchanged without using tools. In that way, you can easily tailor you speakers by the season, your mood or your interior design.
The combination of the very flat bevelled cabinet that conceals mountings and the black glass front makes these speakers well-playing works of art that will decorate any wall.

Technically speaking, Graphic is a highly effective, full-range speaker with a bass port. Placed on the wall it gives you very powerful bass reproduction because the angled, rear-firing bass-reflex port uses the wall as an acoustic amplifier to increase bass response. This means that the speakers, despite their compact and inconspicuous appearance – only 8cm/3.1in thick – are capable of outperforming comparatively larger speakers.

Graphic has far more to offer than the great looks. It is mounted with 133mm/5¼in woofer/midrange units and a 25mm/1in tweeter. Thanks to a unique tiltable wall-mounting system, the bracket adjusts it upward or downward so it can be aimed directly toward the listening position. Feel free to position the speaker above or below the screen… wherever works best for you!

Technology
Despite its relatively compact size, the A 360 features no fewer than six individual drive units: three 3.5-inch bass drivers plus three 3.5-inch co-axial midrange drivers, with three integral .75-inch tweeters. That means each of the channels—left, center and right—is taken care of by an individual pairing of bass and midrange/tweeter drivers, arranged in a 3 x 2.5-way closed configuration.

Combine that drive unit arrangement with a 100-20,000Hz frequency response as well as a 100W power handling capacity (short-term) and there’s no compromise when it comes to performance. This is a competent home cinema speaker (complete with vital magnetic shielding), even though it’s one that’s incredibly convenient.

With a compact size and attractive shape that looks great with any new generation flatscreen, the A 3 CEN.4 is the ideal center channel unit. Approximately the size of two A 320 speakers placed end to end, it has been specifically designed to work with either the A 320 or A 340 compact satellites. The flat design makes the A 3 CEN.4 speakers a suitable match for nearly any room.

The ingenious bracket can be used to mount the speaker on a wall, or as a stand, if the speaker is to be placed on a shelf. The bracket can also tilt the speaker upward or downward to aim the sound toward the listening position, whether the speaker is placed above or below the screen

If you have an all-round musical taste then Jamo C 603 is the best compromise. It has enough bass for pop and rock and at the same time a chorus sounds exactly like a chorus and a guitar like a guitar. The speakers are never aggressive but present a pleasant and lean back soundstage. Jamo performs well in all disciplines and is a brilliant all-round speaker. Best in test!
